This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, a historic milestone that transformed the nation and restored democratic institutions through peaceful collective action. President Ramon Magsaysay State University joins the entire Filipino nation in honoring the courage, unity, and moral conviction of millions who stood along EDSA in pursuit of freedom and accountable governance.
Four decades later, the spirit of People Power remains a powerful reminder that democracy is strengthened not only by institutions, but by citizens who choose integrity over indifference and action over apathy. As we commemorate 40 years of this defining moment in our history, may we continue to uphold patriotism, unity, and responsible citizenship in shaping a just and progressive Philippines for generations to come.
